Promise @HopeshipBH

In one of my previous posts I promised a promise. Here is it's link;

This post is 2 months after that post was being published.

The accomplishments we have done might be normal or also abnormal to some people.

But here you go; since summer started there were a couple of events that we've done.

First of all, we visited Bahrian Downsyndrome society and met an amazing little girl who laughed at us because we were continuously taking photos. We were actually a joke to her. LOL. I even learned what the Downsyndrome really is and that they are just like us! Yes, like us. They are the most amazing people a person could meet.

Secondly, our cloth donation was a big success. As this was the first time we do a campaign of that sort. We received a lot of donations and were able to reach so many families in Muhharaq. Moreover, we got a request from some people to start a new campaign after eid for the poor people in India.

Third, for grgaoon we had three events. First was with the cancer patients kids in salmaniya hospital. Honestly, it was the most depressing place i've every been to. However, as soon as we met the patient, THEY gave us the hope with their amazing smiles. There wasn't any patient whom we visited with our grgaon giveaway who haven't had a smile on his/her face!

*we couldn't take photos of the kids because they didn't want to*

We also organized one of the big grgaoon events in the central governerate with about 1000 citizens attending the event. It was organized by the friendship society of the blind.

Last but not least, we visited the Bahrain Mobility international and distributed gergaoon . The place where I really learned that nothing was impossible! I met a man who the society calls 'disabled' he could hardly talk and was on a wheel chair but studied accounting and finance in London. He's an employee and the vice president of their center. A passionate person. Who proved that disability is in the minds not in people.

We also organized a championship for blind and disabled. It was just A M A Z I N G watching them play! Indescribable feeling. Give yourself a moment and imagine that you can't see and you are in a field. You are given a ball and you're supposed to play. The game is based on the hearing senses as the ball has bells which makes sounds whenever it moves. Wallah, if I had a chance I'll definitely play it!

& there is a project we are working on now which is collecting dontaions to buy Eid traditional sweets for the needy families with a target of 100 families.

We are also the winners in the  social media award for the best student project.

I hope I was up to my promise and did not disappoint any one.

You think we are over?

Sorry to pull you down but this was just the beginning...

My quote of the year.

Negative people are bad right?  But believe me there is so much that you can learn from them.

In my first step I faced a lot of negative people. "YOU CAN'T, YOU CAN'T. Yes, you can't." Those were the words which didn't kill me but the reason why I'm stronger.

"What doesn't KILL you makes you STRONGER!"

My parents are my forever tutors and trainers. Today I learned something amazing from my father and wanted to share it.

In everyday taraweh oor qyam il layl prayers they pray for Burma and Syria but most of the time forget about Ghaza. This tiny thing is a big deal to me because of the passion I have for Ghaza now. It really depresses and moves me when I see people forgetting about them.

I shared my opinion with my father like I always do and mentioned how hard it is to face people who are negative and can't accept the fact that there are people who are passionate and WILL do something.

The lesson I'll never forget was; My father gave me a chance to talk and then went like : "What would we do without all those lights? Won't it just be so dark? Did all the people clap for him and went like you are doing a great job? No. They all made a joke out of him, but here, we are using his innovation and experiment and can't live without it!  Then I even remembered the man who came up with that the earth was round when people thought it was flat. *I'm not good with names except for Edison*

I might not be true all the time, I might not be able to do whatever I want to do but as far as I'm dreaming what could be true, I'm LIVING.

Don't wait for any one to clap for you. Don't wait for anyone to push you. Just raise your head and look up, as far as Allah is with you keep moving because nothing can stop you.

and I'm one of those people who are stronger because of the words which didn't kill me, you can always join the club :')
